Star Clippers has significantly broadened its fly/cruise packages for the summer of 2023, offering increased regional travel opportunities for passengers. These newly inclusive packages feature departures from key UK airports such as London, Manchester, Bristol, and Edinburgh, creating a more accessible and streamlined travel experience for voyagers eager to explore European destinations.
The comprehensive travel packages include flight options from London, Manchester, and Bristol airports, with prices starting at £1,789 per person. These packages also incorporate overseas transfers and port charges. Notably, itineraries featuring flights from Bristol include an additional one-night post-cruise stay in Rome, enhancing the overall travel experience.
Travellers opting for the bespoke sailing from Edinburgh to Athens, which departs on 7 October 2023, will embark on a seven-night journey that showcases the Sporades Highlights. This itinerary covers exquisite locales such as Limnos, Skiathos, Skopelos, and Poros, with prices beginning at £1,899 per person, offering a blend of cultural and scenic exploration.
Fay McCormack, the UK General Manager for Star Clippers, emphasised the importance of travel agents in promoting these unique experiences. She remarked, “It is important that agents are aware that no matter where in the UK they are based, it is possible for their clients to experience the unique opportunity of sailing on board a fully-rigged tall ship.” This reinforces the company’s commitment to collaborating with agents to broaden their customer base.
Further illustrating the growing market trends, Star Clippers reported record-breaking sales during the first week of bookings in January. This reflects a surge in consumer preference for all-inclusive package elements over cruise-only bookings, signalling a shift towards hassle-free holiday planning.
The expanded packages by Star Clippers provide seamless travel solutions, meeting the rising demand for comprehensive cruise experiences.
