The partnership is structured such that Springfield will exchange half of the project land with Barratt in return for comprehensive infrastructure development over a five-year period.
Barratt Developments has committed to investing in the critical infrastructure necessary for this extensive project. They have already provided Springfield with a £10 million cash payment in exchange for an initial 34 acres, setting the financial groundwork for subsequent development phases.
The Durieshill development is poised to deliver 3,000 new homes, enhancing residential capacity in the Stirling area and offering commuting convenience to both Edinburgh and Glasgow.
