In a strategic move to enhance its presence in the travel market, SPL Villas has formed a significant partnership with The Travel Network Group (TTNG). This alliance grants TTNG’s extensive network of over 1,000 agents the opportunity to promote and sell SPL Villas’ impressive portfolio of more than 1,500 properties across more than 100 destinations.
The integration of TTNG’s agents into SPL Villas’ distribution network complements existing partnerships with entities such as Travel Counsellors, Advantage Travel Partnership, Barrhead Travel, and Protected Trust Services. The move is part of SPL Villas’ strategic efforts to reinforce its trade relationships and bolster its market reach.
Earlier this year, SPL Villas announced that it had achieved ATOL certification, a critical step in its strategy to expand trade sales. The accreditation provides consumers with financial protection and reinforces the company’s commitment to maintaining high standards of travel safety and financial security. The Kent-based company has also strengthened its trade support team by adding Mike Lee to work alongside Anne Clays and Sarah Gill.
Laura Ingeri, head of product and commercial at SPL Villas, expressed satisfaction with the new partnership, stating their intention to further increase the share of agent bookings, which has already risen from 20% to 40% over the past year. To facilitate this growth, SPL Villas plans to deploy its business development team to train and support TTNG agents, ensuring they are well-equipped to promote the diverse range of villas while reassuring clients with the company’s ATOL and ABTOT membership.
