Simply Asset Finance has reached a noteworthy milestone, having originated over £100m in loans from its Northern Ireland office. This achievement reflects the company’s strong foothold in the region and its commitment to supporting local business growth.
Since launching in May 2019, the Belfast branch has financed more than 1,800 loan agreements, aiding over 700 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Northern Ireland. This has enabled these businesses to acquire in excess of 2,900 assets, providing a substantial boost to their growth and sustainability.
The team in Northern Ireland, which consists of six individuals including sales representatives and broker development managers, plays a crucial role in supporting the financial needs of local SMEs and brokers. Their expertise and local knowledge have been integral to fostering strong relationships with the business community.
The success of Simply Asset Finance in the region is partly attributed to its collaboration with the British Business Bank. Through this partnership, Simply has been able to lend effectively as an accredited provider of the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS), Recovery Loan Scheme (RLS), and the Growth Guarantee Scheme (GGS). These programmes have been vital in ensuring businesses receive the financial support necessary to thrive.
