Seabourn has taken proactive measures to ensure the safety of its passengers by altering the Seabourn Encore’s spring 2025 itinerary. The cruise line made this decision due to ongoing security threats in the Red Sea, attributed to attacks by Houthi rebels. Consequently, the ship’s westbound voyage from Asia to Europe has been replaced with an eastbound journey from Singapore to Dubrovnik.
Emphasizing safety, Seabourn’s decision to traverse nearly 20,000 nautical miles across four continents and two oceans marks a strategic realignment of its offerings. The revised itinerary now includes a series of new voyages covering diverse regions such as Southeast Asia, Japan, Hawaii, the Panama Canal, and the Mediterranean, between March and May 2025.
The newly designed route consists of 36 destinations in 18 countries, featuring 18 maiden calls. It highlights significant firsts, including the ship’s initial passage through the Panama Canal, as well as debuts in the United States, specifically Hawaii, California, and Miami during March and April 2025.
Seabourn Encore is scheduled to depart from Singapore on 2 March 2025 for a 14-day cruise to Kobe, followed by a 25-day Pacific crossing from Japan, passing through Hawaii, heading towards California. Continuing its journey, the ship will undertake a 19-day transit of the Panama Canal from Long Beach to Miami, commencing on 9 April 2025.
A subsequent 12-day Atlantic crossing to Lisbon precedes an 8-day voyage to Rome’s Civitavecchia port, culminating in a final 7-day segment to Dubrovnik, due on 18 May 2025. This comprehensive journey not only underscores Seabourn’s commitment to safety but also its dedication to providing extraordinary travel experiences.
Passengers looking to explore these new destinations can benefit from a 10% discount on bookings made by 19 November 2024.
Seabourn’s strategic itinerary adjustment underscores its commitment to passenger safety and exceptional travel experiences.
