Riviera Travel is poised to unveil a new digital e-learning platform, the Riviera Explorer, on 3 October. This initiative is a testament to the company’s significant investment in digital support for its agent partners, aiming to enhance their brand knowledge of Riviera’s offerings.
Designed to cater to both seasoned sellers and those new to the brand, Riviera Explorer features the latest brand news and succinct training modules. These modules are intended to showcase Riviera’s itineraries and unique selling points across its river, ocean cruise, and escorted tour products.
Agents are provided the flexibility to complete the training programme within four to five hours, thereby earning the title of Riviera Expert. In an added incentive, those who finish the programme by the deadline of 31 December 2024, stand a chance to join an exclusive fam trip. Potential trips include a Sri Lanka escorted tour departing in 2025 or a Blue Danube Cruise trip on Riviera Radiance.
Vicky Billing, head of trade and partnerships at Riviera, expressed enthusiasm for the launch, stating, “We’re so excited to officially launch Riviera Explorer, which represents the next stage of our trade-first strategy and will truly take our agent support to the next level.” This development follows the recent appointment of Ralph Uhlemann as the business development manager for Ireland, further bolstering Riviera’s dedicated trade support.
