Riviera Travel has strategically appointed Amanda Docherty as a key account manager dedicated to supporting homeworkers. This newly created position will be effective from 8 April. Docherty will be instrumental in tailoring support to remote working partners, enriching their experience with Riviera.
Amanda Docherty arrives with an impressive resume, having amassed nearly three decades of experience in the travel sector. Her past roles have included significant positions at notable companies such as Tui, Carnival Corporation, and Celebrity Cruises. This wealth of knowledge enables her to expertly navigate and contribute to Riviera’s evolving business landscape.
The appointment of Docherty is part of a broader initiative by Riviera Travel to bolster its trade team. Recent additions include Chris McCloskey and Lloyd Morris, who also serve as key account managers for regions including Scotland, Ireland, the UK, and Ireland. All key account managers, including Docherty, will report directly to Vicky Billing, the head of trade and partnerships.
Docherty expressed her enthusiasm for the role, stating, “This is an exciting challenge at what is an equally exciting time for Riviera.
