Riviera Travel has announced the introduction of an updated cruise itinerary on the Mekong River, set to commence in 2026, on board the new Victoria Mekong. This vessel, launched in 2019, accommodates 70 guests and offers 33 staterooms, as well as two luxurious suites, each with private balconies to enhance the travel experience. The ship’s amenities include a restaurant, a bar, an infinity pool, a gym, a library, a games room, a movie room, and a spa, providing an all-encompassing onboard experience for its guests.
The freshly designed itinerary includes a 15-night tour upstream from Saigon to Siem Reap, as well as a 14-night downstream voyage. Travellers will have the opportunity to explore a variety of significant locations in Vietnam and Cambodia, including Can Tho, Long Xuyen, Tiger Island, Phu Tan, and Tan Chau in Vietnam, and Phnom Penh, Silk Island, Oudong, Koh Chen, Angkor Ban, and Kampong Cham in Cambodia. Such destinations promise cultural enrichment and an insight into the hidden treasures these countries offer.
Between January and November, six departure dates are planned for these itineraries. Starting prices are set at £4,599 per person, which not only covers the cruise but also includes flights, transfers, curated tours and visits, two to three nights at the Hotel Grand Saigon, and three nights at the Sokha Angkor Resort. Additionally, guests are entitled to complimentary soft drinks throughout the day on board, as well as selected beverages with lunch and dinner, ensuring a comfortable and leisurely experience.
Riviera Travel continues to reinforce its operational framework, having appointed Ralph Uhlemann as the business development manager for Ireland. This strategic move aims to bolster the company’s reach and enhance trade support, underscoring Riviera’s commitment to elevating its service standards and expanding its market presence.
Riviera’s refreshed Mekong itinerary promises an enriching and luxurious experience, reflecting their ongoing commitment to exceptional travel offerings.
