The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has enhanced its luxury travel portfolio with the addition of a second superyacht, Ilma, further establishing its presence in the premium cruise market. This latest addition embarked on a seven-night maiden voyage from Monte Carlo to Rome on 2nd September, officially beginning its inaugural Mediterranean season.
During its time in the Mediterranean, Ilma will visit a series of renowned destinations including Santorini, Porto Cervo, and Valletta, after which it will set sail for the Caribbean. In the Caribbean, the itinerary includes luxurious stopovers at Virgin Gorda, Gustavia, and St John, offering passengers a curated travel experience.
A significant development in the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s service offering is Ilma’s scheduled itineraries in the North and Baltic Seas. This marks the first time the company will explore routes around Amsterdam, Stockholm, and Reykjavik, opening a new chapter in their voyage routes which reflects a bold expansion strategy.
The 790-foot Ilma boasts 224 suites, each featuring private terraces that provide guests with direct sea access. This design speaks to the superyacht’s commitment to luxury and comfort.
