RH Commercial Vehicles has strategically augmented its relationship with Isuzu Truck UK by inaugurating a new authorised repair centre in Peterborough, thereby enhancing its service footprint across the East of England. This development aligns with RH’s objective to strengthen its logistical and service capabilities, capitalising on the significant sales momentum of Isuzu trucks.
This new facility, situated on Empson Road in Fengate, Peterborough, is the fourth site operated by RH Commercial Vehicles dedicated to the Japanese automotive powerhouse, following successful ventures in Northampton, Newark, and Leicester. Its expansive 10,000 square foot premises house four service bays explicitly designed for the repair, maintenance, and roller brake testing of commercial vehicles ranging from 3.5 to 44 tonnes, alongside a mobile breakdown service designed to ensure swift resolution of vehicular issues.
James Daykin, overseeing group aftermarket operations at RH Commercial Vehicles, commented on the strategic expansion, ‘Operating multiple Isuzu Truck locations across the Midlands and the east of England enables us to extend our services to more local and national fleet customers, meaning they benefit from our extensive one-stop-shop offering, utilising our significant Isuzu parts stock to carry out comprehensive repairs and get their vehicles back on the road as quickly as possible.’ Daykin highlighted the ambition to broaden the network’s reach across the East Midlands, with the Peterborough centre playing a pivotal role in achieving these expansion goals.
