Now, under the ownership of AAA United, which is linked to Danish retail magnate Anders Holch Povlsen, the building is set to regain its former prestige with a modern twist.
The ambitious project, designed by David Chipperfield Architects, spans a staggering 17,500 square metres across ten floors.
