Regent Seven Seas Cruises has officially partnered with the Global Hotel Alliance, creating a first-of-its-kind collaboration between a cruise line and GHA. Known for its comprehensive loyalty scheme, GHA Discovery, this partnership signifies an exciting development for luxury travel enthusiasts.
GHA, comprised of 40 brands and over 800 hotels worldwide, serves a vast membership base of 24 million. Now, Regent guests can partake in this expansive network by earning Discovery dollars—a rewards currency valued equivalently to USD—through their cruise bookings. These Discovery dollars are not only collectible but are redeemable across GHA’s hotels, resorts, and palaces globally, effective for a full year.
The agreement allows Regent customers to receive between 750 and 2,500 Discovery dollars when they make cruise reservations, providing a substantial incentive for choosing Regent cruises. For a limited period in 2023, travel agents have the unique opportunity to offer guests up to triple Discovery dollars, amounting to as much as 7,500 for bookings.
For those already part of the GHA member community, the integration of Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers an expedited path to GHA Discovery’s titanium status. This upgrade, available until the calendar year’s end, brings benefits such as double room upgrades, enhanced check-in and check-out timings, and additional privileges when booking with Regent.
Andrea DeMarco, Regent Seven Seas Cruises president, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the alignment of Regent’s luxurious standards with GHA’s global reach. In a parallel development, the unveiling of Regent’s new ship, the Seven Seas Grandeur, is set for November 2023, following its recent float-out ceremony. This addition marks yet another chapter in Regent’s dedication to expanding luxurious maritime experiences.
