Regent Seven Seas Cruises has embarked on an innovative journey by launching ‘Regent Connect’, a groundbreaking co-branding solution for travel agents. This sophisticated platform stands out as an ‘industry-first’, aimed at revolutionising how agents market and sell luxury cruises by providing them with advanced tools to engage customers effectively and efficiently.
The service, available at no cost, is carefully segmented into two primary components, namely, ‘content experiences’ and a co-branded Regent website. Through ‘content experiences’, agents have the opportunity to maintain seamless communication with clients, offering a bespoke experience that aligns with their clients’ needs.
Significantly, the co-branded website empowers clients by providing access to real-time cruise availability, pricing, and direct call-to-action features that intuitively route potential leads towards agencies. This ensures that agents remain at the centre of their clients’ cruise planning journey, thereby sustaining their competitive edge in the luxury cruise market.
According to Shawn Tubman, SVP of Sales at Regent, ‘Regent Connect’s co-branding solution is a first for the cruise industry, opening up a world of possibilities for our valued travel advisor community to deliver luxury-caliber personalisation to their guests’. His assertion highlights the transformative potential of this tool in personalising luxury experiences.
Furthermore, this tool is powered by technology from the US firm Approach Guides, underscoring its commitment to supporting agents with tools that are as intuitive as they are robust. Jennifer Raezer, co-founder and CMO of Approach Guides, praises the tool for being ‘singularly focused on supporting its agent partners’. This collaboration reinforces the ease of use and effectiveness of the service.
This year, Regent Seven Seas Cruises has also launched a ‘Sell Three, Sail Free’ trade incentive, which offers agents the chance to sail with the line upon completing a specific number of bookings. Additionally, the appointment of Sarah Fabergé as the godmother of the new Seven Seas Grandeur ship aligns with Regent’s dedication to enriching the cultural ties of its cruise offerings.
In essence, Regent’s new co-branding tool signifies a major step forward in enhancing the capabilities and competitiveness of travel agents.
