My Booking Rewards (MBR) has reported record earnings for agents, showcasing a promising growth trajectory in the travel incentive sector. A significant 61% increase in agent rewards was noted in 2024 compared to the previous year due to strategic initiatives implemented by the company. The campaign, running between December 2023 and April 2024, resulted in UK agents earning £197,000 in tangible rewards, driven by more than 28,000 bookings logged through MBR’s systems.
The boost in earnings is attributed to the successful integration of rewards such as cash, free room nights, and fam trip placements, appealing to a broader base of agents. Approximately 2,000 new agents have registered to take advantage of these benefits, indicating a growing interest and trust in MBR’s offerings.
On a global scale, MBR’s 2024 campaign facilitated the generation of nearly £1 million in bonus rewards income for agents, while suppliers enjoyed a substantial sales revenue exceeding £4.2 million. This demonstrates the campaign’s effectiveness in boosting engagement and profitability within the travel industry.
Darren Pearson, the chief executive, emphasised the campaign’s burgeoning success, noting that the momentum in bookings and supplier feedback remains unwavering. According to Pearson, ‘Peaks 2024 has been outstanding. Logged bookings haven’t once faltered in pace and supplier feedback shows that trend continuing.’
The culmination of this success was celebrated at MBR’s eighth annual Peaks Performance Awards in Manchester, which honoured outstanding agent sales performance during the peak season. This event not only highlighted the achievements of the past year but also underscored the continued potential for growth and innovation in agent reward programmes.
The consistent success and growth of agent earnings underline the robust performance of My Booking Rewards’ campaign.
