Swale Borough Council’s approval of Chartway Partnerships Group and Moat Homes’ plans marks a major step forward in the development of 298 mixed-tenure homes at Frognal Place, Teynham. This significant project, granted initial outline permission back in 2021, transforms previously green farmland into a diverse residential area. The development promises a blend of property types and tenures, aiming to cater to a broad demographic range.
Central to the project are community amenities such as orchards, allotments, and sports facilities, including pitches and a pavilion. The commitment to a 10% biodiversity net gain aligns with preserving existing landscapes and implementing ecological enhancements, thus maintaining environmental integrity while supporting community wellness.
