Chorley-based Panache Cruises has set an ambitious target to achieve a £60 million turnover by 2027, aiming to build on its fruitful market entry. Since its launch, the company has demonstrated remarkable growth, bolstered by financial support from Rosebud Finance, a business loan vehicle of Lancashire County Council.
In its first year, Panache Cruises reported sales of £6 million, a figure that has more than tripled to exceed £20 million in its third year. This substantial growth trajectory is attributed to strategic investments and a successful expansion into new markets, including the United States and Spain.
To support this robust expansion, Panache Cruises, under the leadership of founder James Cole, has significantly increased its workforce. Initially comprising 12 individuals, the team now exceeds 50, and there are plans to employ over 100 apprentices by 2030. This personnel growth underscores the company’s commitment to nurturing local talent and skills.
Significant investments have also been made in infrastructure, with a recent £1 million refurbishment of the company’s Chorley office. This reflects Panache’s dedication to enhancing its operational capacity and providing a conducive environment for its growing team.
The company’s achievements have not gone unnoticed, with founder James Cole receiving the Peter Grant award for his contributions to the cruise industry and Panache Cruises being honoured as the Best Online Agent at the 2023 Wave Awards. Cole expressed gratitude for the support received from Rosebud, acknowledging its role in the company’s international growth and innovation.”The success of Panache Cruises to date has been beyond our expectations,” Cole remarked, highlighting the integral role of local talent in their achievements.
Panache Cruises’ trajectory presents a compelling narrative of ambition and sustained growth, positioning it as a formidable entity within the luxury cruise sector.
Panache Cruises’ strategic approach and substantial financial backing have poised it for remarkable growth by 2027.
