Panache Cruises has announced significant leadership changes to drive its ambitious growth strategy.
- The company appointed Alex Langton as head of sales and operations.
- Rhianna Latham has been named the first head of people and culture at Panache Cruises.
- These appointments reflect an ‘early investment’ in the company’s workforce.
- Panache Cruises aims to be the world’s largest seller of luxury cruises by 2030.
In a strategic move aimed at fostering expansive growth, Panache Cruises has made two pivotal senior appointments. Alex Langton has stepped into the role of head of sales and operations, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous roles at ITC Travel and Audley Travel. This appointment underscores Panache Cruises’ commitment to enhancing operational efficiency as it sets sails towards achieving a turnover of $100 million by 2027-28.
Rhianna Latham, joining as the company’s first head of people and culture, hails from a background as a HR business partner at Leep Utilities. Her appointment marks a significant shift towards building a robust internal culture, with founder James Cole highlighting the unique perspectives brought by individuals not traditionally rooted in the cruise industry.
James Cole has remarked that these appointments represent ‘a significant step’ for the company, which was established in 2020 and now boasts a workforce of 58 employees in the UK, alongside an expanding presence in the US with eight employees. This strategic expansion is part of Panache Cruises’ broader vision to dominate the luxury cruise market by 2030.
In line with its growth objectives, Panache Cruises has also bolstered its team with the addition of new apprentices and cruise connoisseurs, positioning itself as a leader in the luxury and ultra-luxury cruise sector. This recruitment drive is intricately linked to their ambition to become the world’s largest seller of such cruises.
Having reported a remarkable 68% increase in turnover to £22.2 million last year, Panache Cruises’ momentum in the industry is undeniable. The company’s recent establishment of a US office in Orlando further cements its dedication to expanding its footprint and underscores its commitment to reaching a global audience.
Panache Cruises is strategically poised to redefine the luxury cruise market by 2030.
