Oliver & Co Solicitors, a fully employee-owned firm based in Chester, has been recognised as the Conveyancing Firm of the Year – North at the highly regarded British Conveyancing Awards. This prestigious event, held on 12th March in London, was hosted by media personality Paul Sinha. It brought together notable figures from the conveyancing sector to celebrate outstanding contributions to property law.
The awards are seen as a mark of distinction within the industry, demanding entrants to meet stringent criteria, including technical excellence and customer service. Each submission was meticulously reviewed by a panel of expert judges, ensuring only the most deserving were honoured. According to the judges, Oliver & Co excelled in adopting innovative working methods that enhanced support for both their clients and employees, demonstrating exceptional business performance.
Annie Somerville, Marketing Manager at Oliver & Co, who, alongside team members Laura Corrigan and Brittany Evans, co-authored the award submission, expressed immense pride in this achievement. She emphasised the firm’s transition to a 100% employee-owned structure over the past 18 months, which has fostered greater employee investment in client service. “Being winners of this award is a huge achievement and one of which we are all immensely proud,” she stated.
