In a strategic move to enhance its Mediterranean offerings, Oceania Cruises has announced 16 new itineraries for its 2025 programme. This expansion reflects Oceania Cruises’ dedication to delivering inventive and captivating travel experiences, accommodating a wide array of passenger preferences.
The new itineraries include an impressive collection of nine Grand Voyages, each ranging in duration from nine to 56 days. This range is designed to provide flexibility and choice for travellers seeking either brief escapes or extensive explorations across the Mediterranean.
Central to these developments is the 1,250-passenger Marina, which is scheduled for an extensive refurbishment in May 2024. Once refurbished, Marina will embark on new routes, including a nine-night journey from Barcelona to Athens, set to depart on May 26, 2025, with stops in Valletta, Rhodes, Ephesus, Istanbul, and Lesbos, starting at £3,239.
Also noteworthy is an itinerary from Istanbul to Athens, visiting Bodrum, Marmaris, and Pergamum among other destinations. This sailing departs on October 16, 2025, priced from £3,699, highlighting Marina’s role in connecting culturally significant locales across the region.
The 670-passenger Nautica will complement these offerings with three new sailings. Among them is a 12-day voyage from Istanbul to Athens, calling at destinations such as Pergamum and Izmir, set to start on July 27, 2025, with fares beginning at £4,089. Another option is the 14-day journey from Athens to Rome, touching on countries including Croatia, Italy, and Monaco, priced from £4,779.
For those seeking extended adventures, Nautica will offer a 14-day cruise from Athens to Valletta, departing September 11, 2025, and priced at £4,249. Each itinerary is crafted to expose travellers to the Mediterranean’s unique blend of history, culture, and scenic beauty.
Additionally, the introduction of Grand Voyages such as the 46-day Rome Round Trip and 56-day excursion from Rome to Miami underscores Oceania Cruises’ commitment to providing in-depth exploration opportunities. Prices for these grand undertakings start at £11,629 and £13,359 respectively, inclusive of airfare, transfers, and shore excursion credits.
Oceania Cruises’ President, Frank Del Rio, emphasised the versatility of their fleet, noting that the line is “rightly renowned for its inventive and captivating itineraries.” He assured that the 2025 Mediterranean sailings would offer inspiring shore excursions appealing to a diverse range of travellers.
