In a strategic expansion, Not Just Travel has announced plans to send over 800 agents on overseas trips during 2024, marking an increase from last year’s 600. The extensive programme aims to enhance the skills and experiences of its agents through a myriad of activities, including training retreats, seminars, and cruises. This reflects Not Just Travel’s commitment to maintaining a highly skilled team prepared to tackle the evolving demands of the travel industry.
The 2024 programme includes a varied selection of activities designed to develop agents’ expertise and knowledge. Among these are overseas training retreats located in picturesque destinations like Mauritius and Fuerteventura. The programme also encompasses seminars, interactive experiences, charity treks, and two cruises, aiming to provide comprehensive training and personal development opportunities.
A highlight of the programme is the Millionaires’ Retreat in Fuerteventura, which will be the inaugural trip for new Elite franchisees. This trip is included within the cost of their franchise package and is organised in partnership with Tui. Franchisees will be hosted at the Tui Magic Life Club, a beachfront, all-inclusive resort that offers a programme of fitness and wellness activities, perfectly blending leisure with professional development.
For more experienced agents, there are three separate Elite Experiences on offer, focusing on the luxury travel market. Up to 30 agents will partake in each seven-day training retreat, with one such experience hosted by luxury operator Beachcomber—a significant trading partner with Not Just Travel. These experiences are invaluable, offering agents luxury, high-tier experiences which can subsequently enhance their professional skill set and client offerings.
Additionally, there will be a specialist golfing trip to Mauritius later in the year for those interested in bespoke travel experiences. For agents on the company’s Cruise Mastery Programme, participation in one of two ‘Seminar at Sea’ cruises is available. In May, agents will board the Sky Princess to sail from Southampton for five days of intensive training amidst the scenic waters of Scandinavia. Following up in June, another group will embark from Barcelona on the Scarlet Lady, courtesy of the success of the previous year’s seminar at sea with Virgin Voyages.
In addition to structured learning, agents will participate in a charity trek along Peru’s Inca Trail in October, with proceeds aiding the Pink Ribbon Foundation. This trek not only offers a memorable experience but also contributes to a meaningful cause, further adding to the rewarding nature of the agents’ involvement.
The overarching aim of these initiatives is not merely leisure; rather, they are structured to significantly advance the business operations of each participating agent. By investing in professional development, Not Just Travel seeks to cultivate substantial sales growth and heightened client service levels.
Not Just Travel’s comprehensive initiative for 2024 is poised to significantly enhance agent skills, foster business development, and reinforce its commitment to professional excellence.
