Key industry figures applauded the efforts in adapting to future market trends and implementing profitability programmes. Notable performances by top agents highlighted the lucrative potential within the franchise.
The recent announcement from Not Just Travel during its biggest conference to date, attended by more than 400 agents and 50 corporate team members alongside over 40 key trade partners, revealed a remarkable achievement of over 36% growth in sales. This event, held in Stratford-upon-Avon, set the stage for the company to disclose its ambitious growth plans moving forward.
Highlighting the company’s expansion, Not Just Travel successfully recruited nearly 250 new agents in the past year, doubling the recruitment numbers compared to 2022. This increase signifies the franchise’s heightened capacity and preparedness for sustained growth in the competitive travel market.
One of the key drivers of Not Just Travel’s success has been its intensified focus on the cruise sector. Over the last 12 months, the company has achieved a significant increase in daily cruise bookings. This strategic shift was echoed in the comments of the co-founder, Steve Witt, who described the sales growth as ‘phenomenal’, evidencing the upward sales trend that appears poised to continue.
Further testament to the company’s success came from Dame Irene Hays of Hays Travel, who recognised Not Just Travel as their “fastest-growing independent travel brand”. She underscored the company’s adaptive strategies, particularly in the cruise market, as a model for future industry developments.
Top agents within the franchise, such as Mark and Isobel McCardie, demonstrated the potential earnings within the network by securing bookings worth over £3.8 million. Other notable performers like Gaynor Speakman and Gemma Outram also highlighted the lucrative opportunities available, with significant sales figures achieved despite part-time commitments.
The strategic growth initiatives and emphasis on the cruise sector have cemented Not Just Travel’s position as a leading performer in the travel industry.
