Norwegian Cruise Line has announced ambitious plans to upgrade its Norwegian Encore vessel. The ship will see the addition of 24 new balcony cabins alongside a new adults-only area. Commencing mid-November, the Norwegian Encore will enter a two-week dry dock. During this period, the ship will undergo significant renovations, drawing from the popular features of Spice H2O from the line’s Breakaway-Plus class and Infinity Beach, part of the new Prima class vessels. This innovative blend aims to provide passengers with an unrivalled outdoor lounge experience, replacing the existing laser tag arena with these fresh amenities.
These updates will include the addition of multiple hot tubs, eight expansive day beds cosy within cooling pools, and an impressively large bar area, all designed to cater to the discerning tastes of its adult passengers. The changes reflect Norwegian’s commitment to raising the bar by introducing more sophisticated spaces for relaxation and enjoyment.
Expansions are also set for the ship’s culinary options, with Cagney’s Steakhouse and Teppanyaki, two esteemed speciality restaurants, receiving enhancements.
