Haining has been part of Connect Plus Services since 2017. Her previous achievements include the groundbreaking introduction of a digital twin for the M25 in 2020, a project that generated geo-referenced 2D and 3D outputs, amassing over 23 billion data points. This initiative has been instrumental in enhancing data-driven decision-making processes.
Her career spans over three decades, beginning with Costain and extending through notable tenures with the Environment Agency, Highways Agency, and Colas. Such extensive industry experience positions her well to lead Connect Plus Services in its ongoing mission to maintain the M25.
Connect Plus, the parent consortium of Balfour Beatty, Edge Orbital Holdings, and Egis Investments Partners, manages the M25 under a 30-year private finance initiative contract with National Highways, set to conclude in 2039. Haining’s role is critical in ensuring the consortium meets its obligations effectively.
