Lee Sleight’s appointment as CEO of Aggregate Industries UK marks a significant transition in the company’s leadership, effective from 1st August 2024. This leadership change follows Dragan Maksimovic, who has been promoted to oversee the West Europe region for the parent company, Holcim. This region includes significant markets like the UK, France, Belgium, Germany, and Spain, illustrating the strategic importance of this change.
Sleight’s journey within Aggregate Industries UK began in 2021 when he joined as the managing director of the readymix concrete division. His efforts and leadership abilities were recognised, leading to his subsequent role as managing director of the aggregates division. Stepping into Sleight’s previous role, Kaziwe Kaulule has been appointed as managing director of the aggregates division.
