Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced a revamp of its existing package, introducing the ‘More At Sea’ programme.

Norwegian Cruise Line has taken a significant step by launching the ‘More At Sea’ initiative, an evolution of its previous ‘Free At Sea’ package. This move comes in response to valuable feedback from passengers and travel agents, aiming to broaden the spectrum of offerings available to passengers enjoying voyages of seven days or more.
Among the enhancements, NCL will introduce additional specialty dining meals, simplifying the meal pricing system by replacing á la carte charges with a consistent cover fee starting January 1, 2025. This change is expected to make the dining experience more accessible and budget-friendly for passengers.
Connectivity onboard is set to receive a substantial boost with the introduction of high-speed Starlink internet, ensuring passengers enjoy faster and more reliable services. In addition, the package provides more Wi-Fi minutes, allowing guests to stay connected with ease.
Moreover, a new mobile application, designed to streamline the cruise experience, is set to be rolled out across the fleet by the year’s end. The app promises an intuitive interface for making reservations for dining, excursions, and entertainment, simplifying the check-in process with fewer steps and offering a detailed view of on-board purchases.
The inclusivity of the package is further highlighted by the addition of premium spirits and cocktails and an expanded entertainment programme offering round-the-clock activities. Existing benefits such as $50 credit per shore excursion for the first passenger, complimentary airfare for the second traveller, and free passage for third and fourth passengers on selected journeys remain intact.
The company is clearly focused on providing a richer, more seamless experience, as reflected in its president David Herrera’s words: ‘We have invested a lot of time listening to our guests and our travel partners and we’ve found that what they want is to see more, do more and enjoy more when they vacation with us.’
As the fleet is set to expand with the addition of Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna, the impact on pricing remains undisclosed, promptly reflecting NCL’s commitment to enhancing guest experiences without sacrificing transparency.
