MSC Cruises has unveiled an innovative offering for the summer of 2024, known as the ‘stay and cruise‘ programme. This new initiative allows travellers to enrich their cruise experience by adding additional nights in vibrant cities such as Athens, Venice, Rome, Miami, and New York. These extensions transform a standard seven-night cruise into a more leisurely nine or ten-night holiday, giving travellers the opportunity to explore and immerse themselves in the culture of their chosen destinations.
The programme includes a comprehensive package with accommodation options that range from three-star hotels in Miami to four-star establishments in Athens, Venice, Rome, and New York. Alongside the hotel stays, customers are offered the convenience of transfers both to and from the cruise ship, in addition to enjoying a half-day city excursion, designed to showcase the unique attractions and charm of each city.
Mr Antonio Paradiso, the managing director for the UK and Ireland, articulated the motivation behind this programme by saying, “We know that guests enjoy the flexibility of tailoring their perfect holidays as well as exploring new destinations.” This statement underscores MSC Cruises’ commitment to providing customisable travel experiences that cater to the diverse interests and needs of their guests.
This exclusive offer is available on a variety of MSC Cruises during the summer of 2024 in both the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. For those embarking on a Mediterranean journey, the package extends to different cruises such as those on the MSC Divina, MSC Fantasia, MSC Musica, MSC Seaside, and MSC Seaview, departing from Civitavecchia in Rome. Similarly, for a Venetian sojourn, MSC Armonia, MSC Lirica, and MSC Sinfonia offer pre or post-cruise extensions from Marghera-Venice.
Travellers opting for the MSC Opera from the port of Piraeus can take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy Athens before setting sail. Meanwhile, for Caribbean itineraries, an extension is offered with MSC Seascape for a Miami stay, and with MSC Meraviglia for those wanting extra time in New York before their cruise commences.
MSC Cruises’ innovative ‘stay and cruise’ programme for summer 2024 offers travellers an enriched experience with extended city stays, catering to those who seek both adventure and relaxation.
