MSC Cruises has announced an array of new features for its forthcoming vessel, the MSC World America, which is anticipated to set sail in April 2025. This innovative LNG-powered ship will host a myriad of entertainment and dining options, including 20 bars and lounges, 13 restaurants, six pools, and 14 hot tubs. A standout feature is the 11-deck-high slide, promising an exhilarating experience for adventure seekers.
The MSC World America will be organised into seven unique ‘districts,’ with each district offering an individualised atmosphere and distinct facilities. Notable among these is the MSC Yacht Club, which enhances the guest experience with butler service, and priority embarkation and disembarkation. Additionally, it provides a private lounge and dining area, catering to a more exclusive clientele.
In the Family Aventura district, guests will discover The Harbour, an outdoor park featuring a high ropes course and playground. This district will also unveil a ‘state-of-the-art attraction never before seen at sea,’ although details remain under wraps at present. Meanwhile, Doremiland will cater to children of all ages, featuring bumper cars, a roller rink, and a virtual reality experience incorporated in the water park.
The Aqua Deck district promises aquatic fun with two main pools, one of which includes a retractable roof, enabling it to transform into an entertainment venue for evening activities. For those seeking serenity, the adults-only Zen Area district offers two additional pools within a tranquil setting ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Shopping enthusiasts can explore the Galleria district, home to a new dining concept, Luna Park Pizza & Burger, providing complimentary fast food, as well as the Jean Phillippe Chocolat & Cafe. The Terraces district expands retail options with nine restaurants and bars alongside eclectic entertainment choices such as a comedy club that doubles as a duelling pianos bar and karaoke room.
The Promenade, the seventh district, presents a unique blend of indoor and outdoor experiences framed by an impressive 11-deck-high dry slide. This area includes a variety of shops, a coffee bar, and diverse dining venues.
Scheduled to commence operations on April 12, 2025, MSC World America will offer alternating seven-night eastern and western Caribbean itineraries. These journeys will include stops at popular destinations such as Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, San Juan in Puerto Rico, Costa Maya and Cozumel in Mexico, and Isla de Roatan in Honduras.
MSC World America’s innovative features and diverse itineraries promise an unparalleled cruising experience for its guests.
