The company has allocated £95,000 towards this endeavour, using funds from its apprenticeship levy and additional sources. By supporting a diverse range of qualifications in law, finance, and management, Movera seeks to enhance the skill sets of its staff within its various brands and departments.
Among the qualifications being sponsored are the Council for Licensed Conveyancers, Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, Solicitors Qualifying Exam, Institute of Leadership and Management, and Chartered Institute of Management Accounts. These qualifications are designed to bolster the capabilities of the employees and provide them with a robust foundation for their careers.
Paulo Dos Santos, a case manager at ONP, highlighted the impact of Movera’s support on his career progression. Since joining the company in 2022, he has completed the CILEX Foundation course and a Conveyancing Property Lawyer training course, which has facilitated his transition into the Leeds Conveyancing team. Dos Santos emphasised the seamless support Movera has provided throughout his professional journey.
Similarly, Connie Murray-Jones, a legal assistant at Cavendish Legal Group, credited Movera’s support with enhancing her understanding of the legal field and boosting her confidence to tackle more complex tasks. The backing she received for her CILEX Foundation course has been instrumental in her career development within the group.
Chris Harvey, the head of learning and development at Movera, reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting its employees’ development across all fields. Harvey noted that the professional qualification initiative is a cornerstone of Movera’s Learning and Development strategy, aimed at easing the pathways for legal and other professional careers.
