After 33 years situated on East Parade, Harrogate’s prominent law firm McCormicks Solicitors is relocating to accommodate its expanding operations. The decision to move comes as the firm recognises the limitations of its former premises in supporting its growth trajectory.
The selected location for their new offices is Scottsdale House, conveniently positioned adjacent to the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Convention Centre in Harrogate’s town centre. This strategic relocation supports the firm’s need for increased operational space and facilitates easier communication among their departments.
Peter McCormick OBE, senior partner at the firm, articulated that while East Parade had served as a historical base allowing for the steady expansion of the firm, it now falls short of meeting their current needs. The new premises promise enhanced accessibility, a notable improvement over the old four-storey arrangement, and additional space for meetings, thus providing a better environment for both staff and clients.
Renowned for its expertise in sports law, McCormicks Solicitors also garners recognition in various other legal fields, including agriculture and estates, charities and not-for-profit, and numerous others such as corporate and commercial, dispute resolution, and reputation management. This wide-ranging expertise has been highlighted in leading legal directories, underscoring the firm’s comprehensive service provision to both individuals and businesses.
The relocation to larger premises signifies McCormicks Solicitors’ responsiveness to growth and commitment to enhancing service delivery.
