Major Travel, marking its 50th anniversary, introduced a clever initiative aimed at benefitting travel agents who have supported its growth over the decades. The ‘Major 4 Me’ incentive provides agents with exclusive discounted rates for personal travel, recognising their important role in the company’s success.
At a grand event in London, attended by 300 guests, Major Travel unveiled its latest technological advancement – an AI assistant designed specifically to enhance support for travel agents. This move displays the company’s forward-thinking approach, catering to the evolving needs of agents in the digital age.
Continuing its expansion journey, Major Travel has firmly set its sights on the US market, aiming for entry in 2025. This follows the company’s recent successful expansion into Ireland, bolstered by its integration with InteleTravel, which acquired Major Travel earlier this year.
Among the celebratory atmosphere, attendees were treated to an exciting giveaway of more than 20 prizes. These included a Caribbean holiday, a safari, substantial holiday credits amounting to £1,000, and complimentary nights in luxurious destinations such as Cape Town, Dubai, the Maldives, and Ras Al Khaimah.
Strategic director, Abbas Datoo, addressed the agents present, acknowledging them as the core of Major Travel. His words of gratitude highlighted the mutual trust and partnership that underpin their relationships: “You are the heart of Major Travel. We thank you for your trust, support, and partnership. Here’s to many more years of travel, partnerships, and memories.”
Major Travel’s anniversary celebration not only honours its past achievements but also lays a solid foundation for its future endeavours.
