Majestic, a prominent wine retailer, announces a significant partnership with Just Eat to augment its swift delivery capabilities. Customers can now access a broad spectrum of wines, including Champagne, Bordeaux, and products from Italy, New Zealand, and Australia, through the Just Eat application. The selection also features Majestic’s own-label brands, expanding their premium offerings to a wider audience.
This service enables deliveries within as little as 30 minutes from initially 43 Majestic locations, aiming to reach 177 stores nationwide by the Christmas period. London hosts the majority with 16 stores, alongside locations in Edinburgh, Sheffield, and other cities, marking a considerable logistical feat.
The collaboration with Just Eat aligns with Majestic’s strategy to enhance eCommerce performance, which accounted for over 20% of their retail sales due to the increasing popularity of the Shop Local initiative. This feature allows consumers to view and order locally available stock for prompt collection or next-day delivery, integrating Just Eat’s service as an added convenience.
