Lidl has identified Friday, 24th May, and Saturday, 26th May, as peak shopping days for the bank holiday weekend. This forecast comes as many prepare for the long weekend, with the retailer expecting a significant increase in customer numbers seeking to stock up on essentials and holiday treats.
To better serve its customers, Lidl will maintain regular hours on Saturday, 25th May, and Sunday, 26th May. However, changes have been made for Bank Holiday Monday. Stores in England, outside the M25, and in Wales will be open from 8 am to 8 pm. Meanwhile, stores within the M25 will extend their hours until 10 pm. Scottish stores will continue to operate as usual, but shoppers are encouraged to verify their local hours online through the store finder.
