Significant leadership changes are underway as Larry Pimentel, a seasoned cruise industry veteran, has exited his role as president and chief executive of the luxury start-up Four Seasons Yachts. Pimentel’s departure marks a pivotal development in the luxury cruise sector, given his extensive experience at the helm of reputed brands such as Azamara, SeaDream Yacht Club, Cunard, and Seabourn.
In conjunction with Pimentel’s exit, Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, the joint owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts, has also confirmed the departure of Philip Levine, a co-founder and former two-time mayor of Miami Beach. Levine, who has resigned from the board, is in the process of divesting his interests to existing shareholders. This movement signifies a substantial reshaping of the leadership structure within the company.
Despite these significant shifts, the company remains committed to its strategic goals. Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings has expressed gratitude for the contributions made by both Pimentel and Levine and has initiated an immediate search for a new CEO to lead the seasoned leadership team forward. Their focus continues to be on building momentum towards the launch of the inaugural voyage of the Four Seasons Yachts, scheduled for 2025.
The brand, which was unveiled in 2022, intends to maintain its course towards launching its first of three vessels, with further plans to expand into expedition and river cruise sectors. Pimentel, prior to his departure, shared ambitions for the company’s growth and diversification, reflecting the forward-thinking objectives that Four Seasons Yachts still aims to pursue.
The leadership transitions at Four Seasons Yachts highlight a dynamic phase as the company advances toward its 2025 launch.
