Yorkshire-based LCF Law has embarked on a new charitable venture, announcing a series of fundraising events in support of Yorkshire Cancer Research for 2024. This initiative forms part of LCF Law’s annual tradition of selecting a charity through an internal nomination and voting process, encouraging participation from across its team.

This year, through presentations and a collaborative selection process, Yorkshire Cancer Research was chosen as the beneficiary, spotlighting efforts to combat cancer through research.
LCF Law plans a robust calendar of fundraising activities. The firm has earmarked the Leeds half marathon, slated for 13 May, as a major event. Thirteen team members are set to participate, demonstrating their commitment to the cause.
Another innovative fundraising effort from LCF Law includes the ‘Tour De LCF Law’ cycle challenge. This involves team members, in partnership with PureGym, using static bikes stationed in their offices. The goal is to collectively cover the 1,064-mile distance equivalent to Yorkshire to the Tour De France’s finishing point in Nice.
Contributions to this challenge will also include miles achieved through various physical activities outside the office, such as walking, running, and rowing. This initiative encapsulates the firm’s dynamic approach to fundraising.
