In a strategic move to enhance its Worldwide Journeys offerings, Jules Verne has unveiled 30 new tours for its 2024 programme. Among these are the first walking holidays the company has offered, marking a notable expansion to cater to a wider audience.
Highlighting the unique and varied experiences, the new tours include excursions to three fresh destinations: northern Pakistan, which promises mountainous landscapes and cultural richness; the quaint and scenic Channel Islands; and the culturally vibrant Basque Country in Spain. These additions reflect the company’s responsiveness to current travel trends and demand.
Jules Verne’s managing director, Debbie O’Neill, emphasises the importance of customer experiences, stating that the new tours have been “carefully curated”. This curation is informed by a combination of booking trends, valuable feedback from guests and agents, and an overarching aim to deliver memorable and inspiring journeys.
The programme is designed to allow for an in-depth exploration of destinations. An example is the newly launched India North to South tour, which presents an opportunity to traverse from the bustling cities of the north to the tranquil backwaters of the south. Travellers can engage in activities such as an early-morning jeep safari in pursuit of Bengal tigers, a cooking session with a Cochin family, and serene cruising in Kerala’s waterways.
Additional standout experiences include picnics within Italy’s picturesque mountain ranges, visits to Mexico’s ancient archaeological marvels, wild swimming in striking lagoons, and sunrise moments at the iconic Taj Mahal. These experiences are thoughtfully crafted to suit a broad spectrum of interests, underscoring Jules Verne’s commitment to providing something for everyone.
The introduction of these new tours underscores Jules Verne’s commitment to offering diverse, enriching travel experiences.
