Private aviation company JetSmarter has announced the launch of crowdfunded flights with a new in-app product to allow users to create flights and share the cost with fellow travelers, the company said.
With crowdfunded flights, users will have the option to initiate a flight and choose the date and time of the departure, while the cost can now be equally shared with other flyers.
JetSmarter is a global community of fliers. Using a sharing economy model, JetSmarter gives users the unlimited ability to create flights on-demand or book individual seats on flights created by fellow fliers — all while saving thousands compared to traditional private travel.
