To honour International Women’s Day, Jetset welcomed 35 female travel agents to a relaxing spa day at Champneys Forest Mere in Surrey. This exclusive event served not just as a tribute to women in the travel industry but also as a reflection of Jetset’s commitment to its community. The spa day involved numerous activities, including breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea, as well as spa treatments, and access to various facilities such as swimming pools, jacuzzis, and steam rooms, creating an environment of relaxation and camaraderie among the agents.
Marking 18 years of its ‘Jets’ booking system, Jetset’s celebration underscored a significant milestone. Originally started with a single developer, the system has evolved, now employing five dedicated developers, and has become a pivotal component of Jetset’s operations. Its adaptability and continuous improvement ensure that 82% of the company’s products are now booked through this system, highlighting its efficiency in managing flight-only, package, villa, and accommodation bookings.
In the latest development of its booking system, Jetset launched ‘Enhance the Experience’ on Valentine’s Day. This upgrade aims to facilitate a more detailed booking experience, allowing agents to distinguish between various cabin classes and fare types when booking flights, thereby offering a more tailored service to customers. This innovation demonstrates Jetset’s forward-thinking approach as it continues to refine and expand its services.
Anticipating further engagement with its trade partners, Jetset plans additional events throughout the year, including a golf day. These events are intended not only to celebrate the continued success and advancements of the ‘Jets’ system but also to strengthen ties within the travel trade community. By fostering such connections, Jetset reaffirms its role as a significant player in the travel industry, committed to supporting its partners and celebrating their contributions.
Jetset continues to demonstrate its commitment to empowering women in the travel industry while enhancing its innovative booking solutions.
