Janus Henderson Investors (NYSE: JHG) today announced the appointment of Kelly Cavagnaro as Head of North America Institutional within its North America Client Group, effective immediately. Kelly will focus on expanding the firm’s institutional presence in North America by bringing the breadth and depth of Janus Henderson’s investment and solutions expertise to bear in helping its clients define and achieve superior financial outcomes. Based in Boston, Kelly will report to Michael Schweitzer, the firm’s Head of North America Client Group.

Kelly is a proven leader with over 20 years of experience in asset management. Prior to joining Janus Henderson, she served concurrently as Head of North America Institutional Sales and Head of Global Consultant Relations at Columbia Threadneedle. She also held various roles at State Street Global Advisors including Head of Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) Partnerships and Private Bank Distribution and Co-Head of Global Consultant Relations. During her time at State Street Global Advisors, Kelly was recognized for her impact and leadership as one of 30 women across the organization to be selected for the firm’s Executive Women’s Leadership Training Program. Kelly earned her BA from Colby College and MBA from Babson College.
