Hurtigruten Expeditions has introduced a new incentive programme for travel agents, running until the end of September.
- Agents have the opportunity to win one of 10 cabins for 2024 cruises by booking through September.
- The reward includes the ability to bring a guest, with itineraries available from seven to 12 nights.
- Destinations for winning agents cover the Galápagos, Antarctica, British Isles, Iceland, and Greenland.
- This move is part of Hurtigruten’s strategy to strengthen ties with travel agents, emphasising cooperation and future planning.
Hurtigruten Expeditions has launched a special incentive for travel agents, operative until the conclusion of September. The incentive is designed to reward agents who successfully book a cabin in this timeframe, offering a range of rewards tailored to enhance agent cooperation. Ten cabins are available for winning agents on 2024 cruises, providing not just a professional advantage but personal enrichment as well.
The reward scheme allows agents to invite a friend or partner to accompany them on a trip, adding personal value to the professional incentive. Each voyage varies between seven and 12 nights, affording agents a comprehensive travel experience. Destinations for these expeditions are diverse, including such exotic and captivating locations as the Galápagos Islands, the icy expanses of Antarctica, the historic British Isles, as well as the dramatic landscapes of Iceland and Greenland.
Hurtigruten Expeditions aims to leverage this incentive to cultivate stronger relationships with travel agents. Nathaniel Sherborne, VP of Sales and Marketing, has articulated the company’s strategic vision, stating, “We know how important agents are to selling an expedition cruise product. Our strategic approach involves finding ways to work closer with trade.” This underlines a broader initiative to renew their focus on agency collaboration, fundamental to their business approach.
Also of note is the earlier appointment of Alastair Newton as Director of Expedition Operations. His role emphasises structuring the team to bolster the industry’s leading science and education programmes, as he states his goal of unifying sustainable expeditions with noteworthy educational opportunities, thus complementing the incentive programme and broadening its appeal.
Hurtigruten Expeditions’ incentive programme underscores their commitment to strengthening agent collaborations and enhancing the expedition cruise experience.
