HubSpot, the customer platform renowned for aiding businesses in scaling operations, has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Cacheflow, a leading solution in B2B subscription billing management and configure, price, quote (CPQ) automation. This strategic acquisition is designed to bolster HubSpot’s Commerce Hub offerings, which currently include simple invoicing and payment solutions, by integrating advanced billing management and CPQ capabilities.
Since its launch in 2023, HubSpot’s Commerce Hub has processed over $1 billion in gross merchandise value (GMV). The acquisition of Cacheflow is poised to further strengthen this platform, making the quote-to-cash process more efficient and helping businesses collect revenue with greater rapidity. This expansion will, in turn, make HubSpot’s commerce solutions available to a broader array of businesses and industries.
Yamini Rangan, HubSpot’s CEO, underscores the company’s commitment to refining the buying process, noting, “We’ve seen strong year-over-year growth with Commerce Hub, which gives our customers an easy way to manage payments and unify their customer and transaction data. With Cacheflow, we’re doubling down on our vision for commerce by addressing two important areas of the buying experience: subscription billing and configure, price, quote (CPQ).”
Cacheflow has established itself as a pioneer in reimagining the traditional CPQ and billing landscape. The platform offers a connected, user-first approach that automates the complex SaaS sales cycle with a no-code platform. This innovation allows users to configure quotes, close deals through interactive links, and efficiently upsell and renew customers.
Sarika Garg, Co-Founder of Cacheflow, expressed the company’s enthusiasm: “We made it our mission to reimagine the old CPQ and billing space, helping businesses automate revenue management, shorten the sales cycle, and get paid fast. We believe deeply in the power of our solution, and are thrilled to join HubSpot and the Commerce Hub team.” Upon finalisation of this transaction, Cacheflow will become a wholly owned subsidiary of HubSpot.
HubSpot’s acquisition of Cacheflow marks a significant enhancement in its commerce capabilities, streamlining revenue management processes for its clients.
