The cruise line’s new venture, named Morimoto By Sea, is an exclusive restaurant set to debut on 16 December as part of the ship’s winter Caribbean schedule, promising guests a luxurious blend of Asian-inspired cuisine prepared by the renowned chef Masaharu Morimoto.
Recognised as the cruise line’s fresh fish ambassador, chef Morimoto’s contributions to Holland America are reflected in the diverse and meticulously crafted menu offerings. Guests can anticipate an innovative range of dishes including sushi, crispy fried whole market fresh fish, tempura calamari salad, and lobster pad Thai. He emphasised that the restaurant will bring “exceptional flavours and one-of-a-kind dishes to guests sailing around the world with Holland America Line.” Reservations for this exclusive dining experience can conveniently be made through the cruise line’s Navigator App or directly on board, with a cover charge of $55 per person, supplemented by gratuities.
