The Hillhead 2024 event, taking place from 25-27 June at the Hillhead Quarry, promises to be a landmark event within the quarrying industry, maintaining its status as the world’s largest exhibition in the field. More than 600 exhibitors are set to present their latest innovations in plant, machinery, and technology, representing a significant increase from the record-breaking event in 2022.
A-Trax, known for its robust crawler undercarriages, will demonstrate products designed to excel in challenging terrains. Brokk will exhibit their new SmartPower+ demolition robots, noted for their ruggedness and improved operational uptime, including models like the Brokk 170 and 200+. Their demonstration is anticipated to be a highlight for visitors interested in cutting-edge demolition technology.
Case’s stand will offer a comprehensive view of earthmoving equipment, featuring both static and live demonstrations. The focus will include their newly launched CX210E-S tracked excavator, which combines power, performance, and competitive pricing. Additionally, their new battery-powered compact loaders will showcase the shift towards electric machinery in construction sites.
McHale Plant Sales, exhibiting in Hillhead for the first time, will highlight mobile equipment solutions for construction and recycling applications, partly thanks to a distribution agreement with Metso. This collaboration emphasizes efficiency savings and sustainability in the sector, promoting Metso’s aggregate crushing and screening capabilities.
SBM Mineral Processing’s outstanding REMAX 600 impact crusher, capable of an output of 600 tonnes per hour, will feature prominently. The machinery, operable via a diesel engine or mains electricity, showcases advanced mobile crushing technology. Demonstrations of their JAWMAX 450 and REMAX 450 continue to draw attention to SBM’s innovation.
The Wirtgen Group will unveil products under the theme ‘Smarter. Safer. More Sustainable,’ including a burner exclusively using green hydrogen. Their response to sustainable road construction initiatives is seen through enhanced asphalt production solutions, underscoring the industry’s pivot towards environmentally friendly technologies.
Hillhead 2024 is set to be an unmissable event, showcasing cutting-edge advances in the quarrying and construction sectors.
