The casting process was rigorous, involving over 30 Zoom castings managed by the advertising agency Space City. Ultimately, 11 individuals from across the UK were selected, ready to bring their genuine enthusiasm for travel to the screen.
Among the selected participants were Evelyn McEvoy, a travel consultant and vocalist, and Michael Astley, known for his innovative contributions to the company’s social media. Another notable participant, Janet Merrins, embraced this opportunity despite personal challenges, having been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022, describing the event as a standout experience.
Overseeing the production was Sutton branch manager Mike Fox, who ensured smooth operations as the store transformed into a filming location.
