Hays Travel recently held a special dinner at Ramside Hall Hotel, Durham, highlighting the commitment of its employees reaching significant career milestones of 20 to 30 years within the agency. This notable event was graced by the presence of Jonathon Woodall-Johnston, the Chief Operating Officer, and Jane Schumm, the Retail Director, reflecting the company’s esteem for its long-serving staff members.
As part of the recognition, employees celebrating two decades with the company were awarded an engraved piece of Sunderland Glass from the National Glass Centre studio, a symbol of their enduring connection to the organisation. Additionally, those achieving milestones up to 30 years also received a Hays Travel gift voucher, further acknowledging their dedication and service.
Tracey Luke, Head of Vista operations and flights, commemorated her 30th year with the company, sharing insights on her career journey that began in 1993. She remarked, “Travel can be a very fluid industry – if you stand still, you get left behind. What has kept me at Hays Travel is the support you receive to navigate this.” Her reflections are testament to the supportive culture fostered within the organisation.
