Hays Travel is preparing to host a significant travel industry event in Turkey, assembling over 1,100 delegates at the luxurious Ela Excellence Resort Belek. This forthcoming event is set to be the largest of its kind originating from the UK this year.
Scheduled to take place from November 11 to 18, the conference will first welcome 700 managers and employees from Hays Travel branches across the UK, alongside those from the newly acquired Miles Morgan Travel and Travel House. The itinerary continues with a segment focused on the Hays Travel Independence Group and Homeworking division, scheduled from November 15 to 18.
The roster of attendees extends beyond internal staff, showcasing an array of travel operators, supplier partners, and sponsors who will converge to explore new opportunities and consolidate relationships. This diverse attendance underpins Hays Travel’s strategic aim of fostering robust, long-term alliances with industry partners, central to the conference’s theme, ‘in it for the long-haul’.
Dame Irene Hays, the owner of Hays Travel, remarked on the event’s importance, noting it as a pivotal opportunity to connect with colleagues and network in preparation for the busy January sales period. In her words, it’s a moment for engagement with their dedicated retail team, the Independence Group, and homeworker members who consistently exhibit exceptional customer service in travel management.
Hays Travel’s upcoming conference in Turkey is a strategic effort to strengthen long-term industry relationships and prepare for future growth.
