In an effort to uplift spirits and acknowledge the hard work of its employees, Hays Travel has initiated the third annual ‘Big Thank You’ scheme. This programme sees seven fortunate employees awarded a total of £3,000 each over six months, at £500 per month, specifically aimed to assist with their household expenditures during the colder months.
Eligible employees from Travel House and Miles Morgan Travel join those from various branches of Hays Travel—retail, head office, and home-based workers—in this rewarding initiative. The draw, which runs from September to November, aims to extend gratitude and support to its numerous dedicated workers.
Dame Irene Hays, speaking on behalf of the board, expressed great joy in making such rewarding opportunities even larger this year. She stated, “The Big Hays Travel Thank You is our way of brightening up the dark and cold winter months and showing our appreciation to our Hays Travel family for everything that they do.”
Highlighting the company’s commitment to its staff, next month’s winners will receive an ample £2,000 to be used towards a holiday of their choosing. This generous gesture underscores the firm’s dedication to employee satisfaction and morale.
One of the recent beneficiaries, Emma Ndoni, a learning and development team leader, expressed her surprise and delight upon winning. Emma stated, “I am truly grateful and still in disbelief that I’ve won this incredible prize, which will allow me to book our very first family holiday for my husband, our three children, and me.” She further commented on feeling fortunate as part of a team that recognises talent and hard work, noting the overall supportive environment at Hays Travel.
