Holland America Line has opened the booking window for its highly anticipated Panama Canal and Hawaii cruises for the 2025-2026 season. These cruises, spanning from October 2025 to April 2026, offer trips lasting between 15 and 22 days. Enthusiasts can choose from six distinct Panama Canal cruises, each promising a unique journey aboard the Eurodam, Koningsdam, or Zuiderdam ships.
A highlight of these journeys is the inclusion of Acajutla in El Salvador on select Panama Canal itineraries. This addition marks the first time Holland America Line has included this port, providing passengers with an opportunity to explore the Joya de Cerén archaeological site, often referred to as “the Pompeii of the Americas”, for its well-preserved Mayan ruins. This new stop enriches the cruise experience by offering both cultural and historical insights.
The cruise routes are thoughtfully arranged to either start or conclude in notable locations such as Vancouver, Seattle, San Diego, Miami, or Fort Lauderdale, offering flexibility and a variety of regional experiences. For those choosing the Hawaiian circuits, cruises aboard the Koningsdam, Zaandam, and for the first time, Nieuw Amsterdam, are available. These Hawaiian voyages, notably a 17-day Circle Hawaii route from Vancouver to San Diego, include visits to famed spots like Nawiliwili, Kahului, Hilo, Honolulu, and Kona.
Pricing for the Panama Canal cruises starts at £2,999, while Hawaii trips start from £2,619. To sweeten the deal, early bookings come with the ‘Have it All’ package, which enriches the journey with a drinks package and premium Wi-Fi access, ensuring a more comfortable and enjoyable cruise.
Karen Farndell, Director of Sales and Marketing, stated, “We know a Panama Canal transit is a once-in-a-lifetime experience many of our guests are seeking, and by adding Acajutla to select voyages, we’re making it even more memorable.” Additionally, the Hawaiian cruises on Nieuw Amsterdam present a novel opportunity, combining the allure of a mid-sized ship with the culinary delights offered at the ship’s new restaurant, Morimoto by Sea.
The new cruise offerings by Holland America Line are set to offer an unforgettable exploration of diverse cultures and landscapes.
