Globus has announced a strategic restructuring within its trade team, highlighted by the appointment of industry expert Jayne Lambert as key account manager. Lambert, who recently transitioned from her role at AMA Waterways, now joins a robust team aimed at reinforcing the company’s dedication to the travel trade sector, a significant component of its sales strategy.
With her new position, Lambert is set to enhance Globus’ engagement with travel agents, leveraging her extensive industry experience. Her career commenced in 2011 with Kuoni, where she served as area sales manager and store manager, eventually joining the river cruise operator AMA Waterways in 2022. This background equips her to effectively support Globus’ strategic objectives.
In addition to Lambert’s appointment, Globus has introduced several other key positions. Kelly Calver assumes the role of key account manager at Avalon Waterways, where she will parallel Lambert’s focus on supporting specialist cruise agencies. Calver’s expertise is expected to further solidify the company’s presence in the bespoke cruise agency sector.
The restructure is further enriched by Ryan Readman’s appointment as business development manager for the north. With a history at Ambassador Cruise Lines, as well as experience with Scenic and Emerald, Readman will focus on driving growth and fostering relationships in pivotal regions. His overseas experience with Contiki and Trafalgar Tours adds a global perspective to the team’s capabilities.
Completing the trade team overhaul are Karen Milward and Sarah Makewell, with Milward serving as business development manager for the south and Makewell moving to a new internal role in sales support. This comprehensive reorganisation is part of a broader effort to align Globus with evolving market demands, optimise agent support, and drive sales.
Globus’ strategic appointments underscore its commitment to elevating trade support and enhancing sales efficacy.
