G Adventures has unveiled an exciting challenge for travel agents, offering exclusive spots to their prestigious GX Summit in Jordan.
- Agents from the UK and Ireland have a chance to attend the summit by participating in the company’s rewards scheme.
- The challenge emphasises changing lives through travel, with each booking moving an agent closer to winning a coveted spot.
- The top 10 sellers in each region will automatically win their place, with additional wildcards available.
- This initiative also coincides with G Adventures’ 35th anniversary celebration at the GX Summit.
In a move that encourages travel agents to focus on transforming lives through their bookings, G Adventures offers an enticing opportunity. The latest challenge, open to agents in the UK and Ireland, provides a chance to participate in the prestigious GX Summit scheduled for September 2025 in Jordan. This initiative is part of G Adventures’ ongoing efforts to engage agents in impactful travel experiences.
Travel agents can earn a place at this summit through the company’s rewards scheme, which runs until May 2025. Each booking made during this period earns the agent an entry into the competition. The top 10 sellers in each global region will secure their position at the event, making this a highly competitive yet rewarding endeavour. Furthermore, there are five additional wildcard spots for agents who excel in specific challenges.
These wildcard challenges require agents to engage in activities such as fundraising for G Adventures’ non-profit partner, Planeterra, as well as completing designated G-Learning training modules. Additionally, for the first time, agents can sell tickets to the GX Summit, thereby offering another way to engage with the event. One place in each region will also be reserved for the agent who books the most travellers.
The opportunity for agents to witness firsthand the impact of their work in local communities adds a unique dimension to this challenge. Winners will join 75 other agents from around the world, experiencing how their efforts in promoting travel directly benefit the destinations and communities involved.
According to Brian Young, the Managing Director of G Adventures in the EMEA region, the GX Summit also marks a special celebration of the company’s 35th anniversary. Young expressed pride in the global community of agents and emphasised the significance of their role in transforming lives through travel.
He also reflected on the summit’s importance, stating: “These spots are the hottest tickets in town, so I wish all of our agents the best of luck and I hope to see you all in Jordan next year.” This sentiment underscores the value placed on collaboration and shared achievements within the travel community.
The GX Summit not only celebrates G Adventures’ milestone anniversary but also reinforces the positive impact that travel agents can have on global communities.
