Artelia, a French consulting engineering firm, has successfully acquired the Leicester-based company Pick Everard. This acquisition represents Artelia’s most significant expansion in the UK market as of now.
Pick Everard, which operates as a partnership and employs over 700 people, will now integrate into the broader Artelia UK structure. This integration significantly enlarges its operational capabilities in the region.
Artelia has steadily built its presence in the UK through previous acquisitions, such as Austin Newport Group in Birmingham and Castons in Suffolk. With the addition of Pick Everard, Artelia UK now boasts nearly 1,000 employees.
Globally, Artelia has established itself as a powerhouse, with around 10,000 employees and a substantial turnover of nearly €983 million in the past year. Pick Everard, on its part, reported a turnover of £71 million.
